Two-for-One Admission Saturday, July 19 10 am - 4 pm One free admission with one paid admission is being offered for this day only. Stroll the boardwalk and explore any or all of our other less traverwed trails with plenty benches to rest along the way. Visit our pioneer history areas and air conditioned museum to get a glimpse of how the homesteaders of Florida lived. Bring your camera and binoculars to capture some of Florida's undisturbed native areas. Don't forget a picnic lunch to enjoy under the shade of our beautiful old oak trees.
4th Saturday Nature Tour Early Open at 8:00 am Saturday, July 26 at 8:30 am Take a guided one mile nature walk through a rare piece of undisturbed native Florida land and learn about the plants, birds, animals and bugs specific to each of five habitats. You will meander through our Pine Flatwoods, Oak Hammock, and the Maple Branch Swamp. The walk takes place on our 2000 ft. boardwalk which is wheelchair and baby stroller friendly There is a two story observation tower at the end of the boardwalk to enjoy the beauty of flora and fauna found in the Tatum Sawgrass Marsh and the Myakka River .
